World Travel Market 2007 was the largest event ever staged with record results, un-audited figures reveal as Reed Travel Exhibitions announced. Total numbers of delegates rose 3% to 48,687, Meridian Club buyers increased by more than 12% to nearly 13,000 and international participants went up by 9.5%. Visitor numbers increased to 23,802, a hike of 5.6%.
During the last 5 years Discovery Central Asia travel magazine is participating in World Travel Market Fairs.
There were travel companies and hotels from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, and Tajikistan on WTM 2007. Among them were SITARA INTERNATIONAL,  AIR ASTANA, ORIENT VOYAGE, OTRAR GROUP, CARAVAN INTERNATIONAL, OTRAR HOTEL, AKZHOL TRAVEL, TURAN-ASIA and others.
