Vera Nechayeva
Born in 1970 in Tashkent. In 1997 she graduated from the Tashkent State named after M. Uygur Art Institute, Theatre Stage Decoration Department. Sketches created by V. Nechayeva are notable for cute tender colours and elegance.

Creative power and tender hands of an Uzbek girl

Dilfuza Ataeva, master of applied art, has grown up in the family of creators in the genuine atmosphere of real discovery. Her father Rakhimjan Ataev, prosaic, essayist, critic and translator, writes under the pseudonym Atauli in Uzbek and Russian languages, translates from Russian, Kazakh and Karakalpak and is an author of famous novels “Turkestan epos”, “Messenger”, “Nation a friend of Farabiy” and “Order of time”. Elder brother Farrukh Ataev teaches mathematics in English and Russian languages at the Westminster International University in Tashkent, leads PhD research in mathematics and translates literary works from Uzbek directly into English in his spare time. Elder sister Dildora Ataeva is about to finish her study at the department of cloth design of the Institute of Fine arts and design after Kamoliddin Bekhzad, is a famous young designer-modeler in the republic, who won the first place in the republican festival “Fashion 2005”.
Dilfuza was born in 1983 in Tashkent. In 2000 she finished a college with distinction by gaining the first skills in dress-making. Since then she has been working as a modeler-designer at the beauty saloon “Riviera” in Tashkent. At the same time, she takes a great interest in fine arts, hand-made in clothing, which has a long history in the nation and has always attracted and is attracting the guests of the country called Turkestan. Dilfuza took the third place in the nomination “Applied and fine arts” in the republican exhibition-contest “Talent”, which was held in March 2002 under the motto “You are the cradle of talents, my Uzbekistan”.
The hand-made works of Dilfuza Ataeva presented to You speak for themselves. The charming patterns, colors, shine… are the natural result of almost jewellery work of young master of applied art. As you see, the main objects of the portrayal are such beautiful birds as swan and pigeon, such wonderful flowers as tulip, rose and lilac and fruits of heavenly land of Uzbekistan: grenades, apricots, cherries, pears, grapes…
