City. Rush hour. Crowds of people. In a hurry. Hot weather. Cell phone. Polluted air. Dust. Hard to breath. Everyone has experienced it. Everyone knows what it is like. But it is possible to break the routine. Just imagine:
Mountains. Silence. Fresh air. Cool wind. Car speeding up a meandering road to who knows where. The mountains get higher, the sky seems to be falling. The car throttles back, its engine grumbling quietly up the narrow grey and dusty road. Every mile brings you closer to the sun, its rays lighting everything up…Flowers, real flowers, not from a shop. The scent. Your number is unavailable, yes really! You are far from all worldly problems. You have the chance to feel and perceive the true sense of the words “beauty” and “freedom”…
But wait, hold those thoughts, and listen. You turn to look at the peak of a mountain, cloaked in its padding of clouds. There they are: a curious magpie, followed by a starling, a blackbird and the Eurasian eagle owl, the terror of hares, squirrels, small rodents, birds and even hedgehogs. It is a privilege to see all these beautiful creatures because many may soon disappear from the world's fauna forever (often killed by people for their own purposes: the feathers of the Eurasian eagle owl, for example, are used as decoration in national headdresses as symbols or tokens that protect the wearer from “evil spirits”). But don't hurry to approach them…Be patient and you will see and hear much more… Once they get used to you and understand that you are harmless they proceed with their routine and begin singing because they cannot live without it. They sing without any instruments, they do not need five hour rehearsals everyday to play their music in public and then forget everything. They do it spontaneously, every morning, and every time in a new and unique way. Have you ever heard the singing of a dozen nightingales early in the morning? No orchestra, believe me, no orchestra can be compared to it.
You wait another minute and they suddenly fall silent, why? And then you understand the reason: high in the sky, an eagle is hovering. In the rays of the sparkling sun you can clearly see its strong lightly colored wings and white tail. And then you understand why it is called the Golden Eagle. It descends and you see the golden feathers at the back of its head. It is looking around calmly and for that moment is the master of all this land… With a stately flap of its wings it flies up, seemingly without effort, unconstrainedly. You watch it and cannot help wondering how this majestic bird can submit to man and be used by him for hunting…
There are a lot of animals that can fly. There are flying squirrels, bats, and flying lizards and even flying frogs. However only birds do it perfectly and are loved by all who see them hovering. For all our high technology, which can put people on the Moon, we are still envious of the eagle's soaring flight.
The magic of nature is everywhere - in the high grass rustling in the wind, in the sun rays gently touching your hair. And even if everything stops existing, even if the world turns upside down, this small remote part of the land will always remain somewhere charming, enchanting, somewhere captivating and magical! It seems that only here you really understand - seeing all this beauty, these animals and birds - what true happiness is…
Kyrgyzstan is not only the country of Snow Leopards and high mountains, horses and blue rivers, Marco Polo sheep and deep lakes, it is the land of birds too. We enjoy and preserve this beauty and want to share this pleasure with you. Memories which last. You are invited to all nature tours with us.
