I would like to present a special issue of our Discovery Central Asia magazine, which is now almost in its fourth year of publication. Our company, SILK ROAD MEDIA LTD, UK, continues its work by publishing, issue after issue, Discovery Central Asia magazine, containing useful, interesting and necessary information on tourism. We are strengthening our positions outside of Central Asia, and for several years we have been distributing our magazine at international tourism fairs, which we have attended both as participants and visitors. Not in vain. In the course of last year, we have received invitations from travel agencies and ministries from Central Asia, Asia and Europe.
I express my sincere gratitude to Lufthansa company, who organized the press-tour to Bavaria, the Ministry for Tourism of Syria for the invitation to the SILK ROAD, DMA festival, and the Kyrgyz Tourism Association, who develops tourism in Kyrgyzstan for organizing the press-tour to Kyrgyzstan.
We would especially like to thank the British Council, who arranged our participation in the International Exhibition in London, for their interest in tourism development in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan and for their sponsorship of the first ever Discovery Uzbekistan and Tajikistan specials. We continue our work with Asian exhibition companies, who invite all readers to take part in the exhibitions and festivals we regularly bring to your attention and which we will continue to cover in the pages of our magazine. In conclusion, I would like to thank Susannah McBain, who helped us edit this issue, while Editor-in-Chief Andrea Leuenberger was exploring other parts of the world.
I would also like to congratulate everybody on the beginning of the tourist season, and, of course, I wish successful and fruitful work to all our partners. We call on everybody to make new discoveries. Let's travel more often and share impressions with our friends. Let the most interesting and vivid things remain in your memory.
