...and then I am off to Europe

I will make this brief. We’re November 1, 2005 – the end of the season for many hoteliers and tourism services in Central Asia – the start of a hectic time for our Discovery team and for me as an editor. Another 2 weeks to go and we will be back in London for WTM, the tourism fair all of us have come to love. Back at our very own Discovery stand; it is going to feel a little bit like coming home.
Our team will bring 4 brand new magazines along, Discovery Central Asia Travel Magazine, with a new record number of pages, the Uzbekistan Supplement, the Kyrygyzstan Supplement and as a first ever, a supplement showcasing Tajikistan, the new secret “favorite country to adventure into” among foreign residents in Tashkent (plus 3500 other travelers this year).
I will make this brief because the combined force of information you obtain from these publications speak for themselves. My aim is to make you understand just how many-faceted travels around Central Asia not can be but are, something for every interest and I sincerely hope this comes across.
I will make this brief because my ToDo List is getting additions by the minute – then again we get a lot done in a day. Airtickets with British Mediterranean, the British Airways “daughter” are booked, our printhouse is on stand-by, the last articles are coming in for editing, the photo shoot for our un-traditional front page is done. On November 12, I am going to participate in the opening of the Annual exhibition of Applied Arts in Tashkent, organized by the Hamsa Center for Crafts Development – the perfect opportunity for last minute Christmas Shopping of gifts for friends and family in Europe. And then I am off to Europe.
WTM Stand AS7000 come by and see us,we’ll be delighed. And come and see us in Central Asia, next year, YOU will be delighted, I assure you.
