Out side our office in Tashkent, autumn leaves are falling, it's still nice and warm though, the sky is brilliantly blue; this is among the perfect moments to visit Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, other Central Asian and neighboring countries. We imagine, as the avid traveler that you are, you will soon enough be cuddling up on a cold winter evening, just in the right mood to shape next year's travel plans.

Combination Travel this is the trend. Custom made individual travel the next trend. Central Asia is becoming more accessible but is definitely still a destination you may have partly to yourself on your journey through these ancient lands, a destination to a great extend undiscovered, There is so much to see, to taste, to touch, to listen to, to get thrilled by, and operators are making an effort to come up with a broader range of experiences just for you, whether you are drown by the splendor of The Great Silk Road's architectural monuments, the diversified and ancient culture still rooted in everyday life, the mix of people, the flora or fauna unique to the deserts, steppes, mountains and rivers of Central Asia. We from Discovery Central Asia, Travel & Leisure, in turn are the ones to give you the update, to get the information out - just look at our Kyrgyzstan section we are delighted to bring you closer to a country and its famous people with so much to offer in terms of tourism.

Accessibility is definitely a key word, Foreign government representatives, international organizations, key individuals from the private tourism sector are working jointly with local governments in order to make it easer for you to get here. Improvements of infrastructure, streamlining of procedures, and strengthened international standards are targeted and changes are implemented fast. Small service providers are gaining the know-how it takes to make your stay the unforgettably wonderful dream journey you expect,

It's a good time to dream of Central Asia knowing that this dream can come true.

With warmest greetings,
Andrea Leuenberger

I'm so excited about this opportunity to write about and travel among such amazingly hospitable people, incre-dible natural beauty and fascinating culture. I've only just arrived in Uzbekistan less than two months ago, and already feel like she is my home away from home. I look forward to experiencing Central Asia to its fullest in the coming months. Thanks.

being from a small town myself, i love the people and lifestyle of our more rural communities. Our visit to the Ferghana Valley will remain a lasting memory and food for my soul for years to come. I highly recommend travels to this not often visited part of Uzbekistan.
