New carpets yet displaying the beauty of times gone by can be admired at Ishoni Pir Medresse on Eshoni Pir Street. The Unesco established Carpet Workshop uses ancient local dying techniques and the knotted carpets depict timeless Timurid patterns in spectacular color combinations. One of the most enchanting entertainments you are likely to enjoy in Uzbekistan is the English-speaking puppet theater show at the Amphitheater on Lyabi Hauz square.
