Mirzaakhmedov Turgunboy is one in a long line of crofts masters from Margilan. One of the first to open his own atelier in Margilan he today produseds some of the finest handwoven textiles in Uzbekistan. His innovative skill and perfect control over patterns, color harmonies, techniques such as abr (cloud), also known als ikat make him one of the most respected and reputed silk weavers.

Mirzaakhmedov Abdurasul & Mirzaakhmedov Abdurakhim represent the present day generation of the famous silk weaving family. Taking their command over technique and patterning even further, they come up with their own collections of exquisit shol and atlas cloth. Their experiemental quest has further led to the renaissance of bakhmal, the velvet material so coveted two centuries ago in Europe and all over the world and now once again available.

Akhmadaliev Salidjon
The grand master of block printing, one of the most ancient crafts of the region, the teacher and great role model for all of those who today indulge in this artform.
The finished cloth has gone through many stages, from brewing the color paste to printing, drying, reprinting and rinsing the cloth in the cold mountain waters in the Aryk. Certain colors can only be achieved at certain peak moments of the year. Available at all major galleries and salons throughout Uzbekistan.

The Zarafshan Valley is famous for its coppersmiths, the massagets. The tech-nique of embossing was introduced to the area only 200 years ago and being a 7th generation coppersmith, Ostanov develops his own decorative patterns, based on the heritage of his ancestors. Kalyans (chilims), jugs, lagans (plates), drink sets as well as his jewelry collection are on display at his workshop  Rishtan
Usupov Sharofiddin.
The offspring of a famous ceramic making family over many generations, Usupov was taught by the best masters of Rishtan and has re-established the technique of ishkor glaze. Awarded with a UNESCO diploma in 1996, his works have since come into the funds of museums such as the Art Museum of Eastern Nations in Moscow, the Museum of Ethnography in St. Petersburg, the Hermitage and other collections
Usupov Firdaus
The expression of strong images through minimal use of color are his strenght. The prevalence of white emphasized by deep blue hues makes his work immediately recognizable. He experiments with form and decor, combining national and transnational traditions. His works are meant to be both decorative and items of daily use:
