Samarkand

Vladimir Ivaniv
Warmth and light come from canvases of Vladimir Ivaniv. They can be easily displayed not only in gallery exhibition halls but also in cosy interiors of dwelling houses. The artist doesn't copy reality but in poetic and elegant style reproduces on his canvases images of eternal Eastern city having shown all the beauty of colors in Samarkand. Mild color tones are sometimes supplemented by strong finale and you can feel an emotional hold-up pulsing under outward peace.

Painter and drawer Andrey Sherbakov often turns to oriental themes but his pieces are not ethnographic in the literal sense of this word. Exact life details appears to be only the instrument to show bright and complicated emotions of the artist and his characters. The painter's spirits reveal themselves in broad dynamic strokes and ornamental color combinations. Only great expert of his job can so direct coloring to the clash of contrast colors intensifying explosive latent strength of human emotions. His expressive style doesn't deprive his pieces of its philosophic depth.

We'd like to present you another side of modern artist, who considers his teachers such famous artists as Picasso, Paul Clay, Malevich, Kandinskiy. Composition living in space, the plot expressed through the from, the line Showing the state of feelings all this composes the play created on the canvases of Vladimir Elizarov. His pictures can be found in private collections in Germany, America, Israel, Russia and Avstralia. His works were displayed in Tashkent, Moscow and Bonn where admirers of cubism and surrealism noted him.
